Macmillan Coffee Morning

We've had the Macmillan coffee morning for the children and raised an amazing £115.19!

This is a fantastic achievement - well done!

We would like to thank all the parents in year 5 LM/SC who donated buns and cakes to such a worthwhile cause and to the children for being so passionate about a worthy cause.

A massive THANK YOU!

Volunteers earn day trip to Jump Inc.

On Friday 13th July, a group of volunteer helpers went on a day trip followed by Frankie & Benny's.

We were so lucky in getting to do this.

We began to walk up to the bus stop to catch the number 18 bus. The time come for the bus to arrive but it didn't we had patience and waited. A while later some other people arrived.

Then Abbie decided to do something very strange. She put her face against the bus shelter so she had black outlines of diamonds. The lady that arrived gave us a baby wipe so that she could wipe her face, meanwhile Mrs McGrath was on the phone to the bus company. After around 5 minutes she got through to the company then they told her that we would have to wait until 11:45 but we couldn't wait that long so we walked back down to school where they ordered us three six seater taxis.

We arrived at Jump and began having fun. Our hour passed rapidly so we got dressed for Frankie & Benny's.

We enjoyed Frankie & Benny's but we only had 15 minutes after our desserts arrived to get to the Meadowhall interchange. We started to RUN we had to run through M&S to arrive on time. Thankfully we arrived on time, fortunately we had 10 minutes spare! We had a great time but we all had stitch and were completely exhausted. It was a great visit so ...
